Interim Group Reporting

Your new role

We are seeking an Interim Financial Reporting Manager for a 6-month contract in my clients Cheltenham head office to support our financial reporting team deliver our Annual Report to the required timescale. The role requires an experienced, technically strong Reporting Manager to help produce the Annual Report and Accounts, with focus on key technical areas of the Group and Company financial statements.

You will produce timely and accurate financial information in line with the year-end timetable, working with the existing team to deliver high quality financial reporting.


What you'll need to succeed

* Support the Senior Financial Reporting Manager in the preparation of the Group Annual Report and Accounts, including financial notes, policies, and accounting principles.
* Collate and prepare the Company information for the Annual Report.
* Be involved in the group impairment review models, ensuring correct application to the Group and Company.
* Support the financial accounts process by preparing notes to the financial statements as requested, with full reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts.
* Liaise with the external auditors in relevant areas to ensure a clean audit.
* Investigate and report anomalies arising from accounts preparation.
* Ensure the business complies with the IFRS accounting standards and legislative frameworks.
* Act as a subject matter expert for technical accounting queries, to ensure correct application in the year-end results and financial position.
* Engage with third party technical advisors, as required.
* Support the Senior Financial Reporting Manager in the delivery of all financial reporting requirements.
* Work with the senior management team and peers providing support as necessary.
* Manage ad hoc requirements, liaising with other departments within the business as needed by the Head of Accounting and the Senior Financial Reporting Manager
