Project Accountant - Financial Services - Manchester City Centre - Up to 50K + 10% bonus - Hybrid Working

Your new company
A growing SME based in Manchester City Centre is looking to grow its finance team with a project account. This financial services business is looking for practice candidates to join their team and it's an exciting time to join the business.

Your new role
As project accountant you will be responsible for the financial administration and financial reporting of multiple PFI projects company groups. You'll have to work to tight deadlines, while managing a range of internal and external stakeholder relationships. In the absence of the firms Finance Manager, the Project Accountant will act as the senior finance lead. Your main responsibilities will include: monthly accounting, financial modelling, statutory reporting, taxation, commercial strategy and governance.


What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an ACA/ACCA first time mover from practice looking to make your first step into industry. Alongside this you will be a good team player and work with stakeholders of different levels. You should also have competent excel skills.
