Assistant Finance Manager

Due to an ongoing requirement within the Central Services Finance team, the requirement for an Assistant Finance and Operations Manager on a fixed term contract basis has become available.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be a crucial member of the wider Central Services Finance team to oversee and manage all aspects of the finance operations. This role will include oversight of the Accounts Payable division including review and reporting on figures, managing cash and income to ensure this is processed in a timely manner, being a direct support to the Finance Manager during busy periods and supporting in the preparation of budgets and financial reporting.You will be working closely with the wider team to develop your own learning and skills whilst managing a fast paced, high volume workload.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be a part qualified or qualified finance professional with previous experience overseeing both finance and operational elements on a daily basis. You will have previously worked in a similar environment in the local area, understanding the complexities associated including managing your own workload, prioritising tasks with strict deadlines and working towards the organisation's common goals for the finance team. You will be adaptable to change, able to work in a fast paced environment and confidently willing to develop new skills and understand processes.
