Job Details
International dispute advisory firm are seeking to hire a Forensic Accountant at Senior Associate level for their London office. Within a friendly and professional working culture, this team work on some of the largest and most complex commercial disputes in the world. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, oil & gas. With no project the same, your work will often integrate finance, accounting, economics, valuations and law. Training and support will be provided for career development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct economic and industry research
- Analyse financial and non-financial information, and report findings to other team members
- Develop valuation parameters and prepare financial models
- Assist with the preparation of damages and valuation reports
- Assist with the preparation of critique reports examining the conclusions of other experts
- Conduct Quality Control of work
- Communicate with clients, lawyers and expert teams in other disciplines
- Prepare for and attend hearings, trials and mediations
- Participate in team discussions and contribute to a positive team working environment
- Manage the day-to-day requirements of multiple engagements
- Assist in business development pursuits – proposal/presentation preparation and participate in pitch/presentation
Requirements:
- Recently qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent, with a strong academic background
- Previous forensic accounting experience preferred but not essential
- Professional background in any of the following with c.0-2 years post qualified experience: forensic accounting, audit, corporate finance, advisory, economic consulting
- Strong numerical and data analysis skills
- Excellent attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient with relevant office PC applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel internationally if needed
- Language skills are advantageous but not essential
Remuneration:
c.£50,000-£60,000 + bonus + benefits. Base salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.
