Your new company
Founded in 2005, this successful boutique investment management company is dedicated to providing first class investment management services to its clients primarily in the UK and US. Its small, dedicated workforce interacts with a range of clients and is now looking to expand the team.

Your new role This unique hands-on role provides an opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of processes and tasks right across the firm. It will include a mix of finance and investment administration tasks such as:

  • Producing management accounts and financial statements
  • Managing external auditors
  • Managing payroll
  • Preparation and submission of company tax returns
  • Company secretarial duties
  • Cash, stock and dividend reconciliations
  • Processing corporate actions
  • Calculating fund and firm performance
  • Supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Other investment operations and ad hoc tasks as and when required


What you'll need to succeed
Ideally we are looking for a qualified accountant, although the client would be open to someone that is qualified by experience with a first class academic record. You should have strong excel skills and be able to work independently with a wide range of stakeholders. It would be beneficial if you had an interest in and some experience of investments or financial services although not essential.
