Finance Manager Role

Your new company
A fast growing organisation based in Dover, Kent. Looking for a Finance Manager to bridge the gap between Senior Management and the transactional finance team.

Your new role

  • The preparation of P&L, balance sheet & cashflow for budgeting and forecasting
  • Finance business partnering with the leadership team
  • Cash flow forecasting and other FP&A related tasks
  • Building reports for key stakeholders e.g. Store P&L's
  • Ad hoc commercial analysis / business cases
  • Being the ERP system super-user for the business
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts which include:
  • Generating P&L and Balance Sheet reports
  • Conducting variance analysis and providing relevant commentary
  • Managing the fixed asset register and depreciation calculations
  • Reviewing and posting journals where necessary
  • Line managing the Assistant Finance Analyst
  • Developing the weekly sales & trade report
  • Publishing the monthly end packs to the Board


What you'll need to succeed

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • At least 3 years' preparing management accounts within a fast-changing multi-channel retailer.
  • Prior experience working in a medium sized growing business.
  • Systems and process implementation would be useful.


What you'll get in return

  • Up to £50,000 per annum.
