Head of Finance job in Norwich


Hays are seeking applications for a Head of Finance role, within a leading accountancy firm in Norwich.

This pivotal role will see you leading the firm's internal finance team, responsible for all day-to-day finance functions and reporting directly to the Board and partners. You will be required to liaise with client facing teams to support the service delivery, monitoring performance and delivering management information to meet internal objectives and statutory responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading the finance team in the delivery of the firms finance function.
  • Supporting and training the team and ensuring appropriate resourcing
  • Control of day to day banking and accounting, including client accounts
  • Main contact for banking relationship
  • Delivery of timely management information and statistics
  • Responsible for annual budgets and cashflows
  • Control of partners current and capital accounts and tax accounts
  • Oversight of statutory LLP accounts for audit.
  • Compliance with statutory returns for VAT, PAYE and other taxes
  • Budgetary control and negotiation with suppliers
  • Reviewing and selecting appropriate software solutions
  • Liaising with professional teams to deliver data and drive financial performance
  • Reporting to partners on budgeting, management information and performance indicators
  • Compliance with ICAEW client money regulations
