You will support the achievement of business plans and goals through commercially focused, effective and timely financial advice and support to UKGI SLTs and their respective teams.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead the overall cost base in their systems (Qlik, Anaplan primarily) - across month end and quarterly forecasts - working closely with cost centre owners in the business to understand activity, variances and budget requirements
  • Facilitate appropriate data visibility of UKGI, Personal and Commercial allocations of Direct and ACS charges and opportunities to challenge costs/allocations
  • Act as the key link between UKGI Expense Management Team and Finance BP, providing context, regular effective communication and timely escalation of any key issues
  • Advise on appropriate accounting treatment to ensure accounting principles are adhered to. Review and sign off monthly balance sheets
  • Aware of and adhere to the Risk & Control environment for the month end review of actuals and ongoing data governance, particularly of personally sensitive cost information

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Experience working in a Finance team in a large organisation, or with proven experience in the insurance industry with an understanding of expenses
  • Resilient to challenge and ability to influence a wide range of collaborators
