Your new role

Has expanded its operations along with deal volume and with that the number of bank and other type of accounts has also increased. There is a need to have a dedicated individual responsible for the day-to-day management of the various bank, custody and other accounts including bank mandates. Given their expansion into Asia, there is an additional requirement to open new bank accounts in this region along with additional broker arrangements. Additionally, this role will help to develop custody and bank account management processes and controls, review current pricing, assist with the renaming project.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Day-to-day management of the bank, custody, escrow and broker accounts, including bank fees and pricing.
• Own and be responsible for updating of user profiles with Standard Chartered Bank's banking platform.
• Manage the updating of the bank mandates with all our banking partners.
• Responsible for and driving forward the opening of the new bank accounts including in Egypt and in the Asia Pacific region to support our growing in-country footprint.
• Initiate and complete the opening of new broker arrangements in India and other jurisdictions, as required.
• Manage and coordinate the opening of locally based credit card programmes in our jurisdictions.
• Complete the necessary documentation to rename all bank, custody and other accounts as part of the Group Renaming Project.
• Respond to and manage all bank KYC documentation and requests.
• Complete all supporting documentation for legacy investment transactions held on custody accounts.
• Develop custody and bank account management procedures, processes, and controls.

What you'll need to succeed

• Suitable experience in a global treasury function (multi-currency) gained in either a corporate or banking organisation or as a treasury consultant (working on banking merger projects).
• Knowledge and experience of bank and broker account management is essential.
• Experience of emerging markets would be a significant advantage.
• Previous experience of proactively identifying and addressing operational issues would be advantageous.
• Structured and methodical approach.
• A flexible team player.
• The ability to take the initiative, to enjoy new challenges and see tasks through to completion.
• ACT cash management certification preferred; accounting qualifications would be an advantage but not essential.
• CISI Investment Operations qualifications would also be relevant.
• Candidates should ideally demonstrate some commitment to development or social goals through previous executive or non-executive activity.
