Finance Director/Company Secretary required by successful North Nottinghamshire company
Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are working with a successful North Nottinghamshire based SME company to recruit a No 1 on site finance professional.
Your new role
Reporting to the site Managing Director and the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all aspects of finance and company secretarial matters managing a small team. Very much part of the senior leadership team on site, you will oversee accounts to trial balance, VAT, payroll, credit control, banking, cashflows, treasury, PAYE, P11D's, tax and CIS returns as well as producing monthly, quarterly and annual accounts and all group reporting/group consolidation pack production to the Group Financial Controller using Sage.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified ACA, ACCA, ACMA with a proven CV history, a high level of technical finance skill and be used to working as part of the a senior leadership team. You will have experience of staff management as well as the full range of management, financial and statutory accounting skill. You will ideally have experience of Sage and CIS and taxation. You will have SME experience in Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering or similar. You will be living in commutable distance to the North Nottinghamshire area as the role is hybrid working (c3 days a week in the office).
