Financial Controller- 3-month interim role - Bristol
Daily rate: To be agreed prior to interview depending on experience/ and pay type
Hours: 28 to 35 (subject to negotiation)- part-time is available
50% in the office / 50% from home- Could do 3-5 days
Location: North Bristol

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to cover an interim Financial Controller role for a period of absence. This is an important role for the organisation and will require a qualified Finance Professional who is able to help the FD lead a team and implement new digital processes including building a Business Intelligence function to support the department managers across. As well as being responsible for Statutory Reporting , Year-end and audits you will be managing supporting the FD to lead a busy Finance Team.

You will need proven financial planning, forecasting, audit, controls FRS technical expertise and a desire for continuous improvement. Developing management reporting and digital processes including upgrading and transforming our systems whilst overseeing a tight audit schedule and deliverables along with a fully supported trial balance will be areas you will be familiar with. You will have a demonstrable working knowledge of good governance, and delivering stand-alone financial works including cashflows and grant applications and claims.. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Technology, this appointment will play a vital role in Governance and Assurance of the Financial integrity of the business.
