Project Accountant Job, Liverpool, £to £60000 - FP&A / Financial Modelling, Global Law Firm

Your new role
As Project Accountant you will deliver analytical financial modelling to support the evaluation and delivery of projects. The role also contributes expertise, insight and guidance to the continual improvement of financial processes to support the firm in delivering its strategic objectives.

• Detailed and thorough financial modelling of investment projects to help decision makers come to conclusions based on financial reasoning. Providing insight and analytics to aid commercial decision making.
• Modelling for budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management
• Business Partnering with key stakeholders to develop financial processes, reporting and project support
• Preparing charts and visuals to communicate analysis and project insight
• Input into development of financial processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy
• Providing input into the development of finance related reporting content. Assisting the Accounting and Finance Systems teams with enhancing the suite of actionable and insightful content
• Maintaining and developing key financial content such as partner statements
• Supporting other colleagues in the Finance department during peak periods for the delivery of outstanding service for the firm

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in financial analysis and modelling.
You should have advanced Excel skills with a knowledge of VBA / Macro development.
You'll have experience of finance project work with a proven record of problem solving and process enhancement.
