Accounts & Tax Manager – North London

Are you an ACA fully qualified Accounts Manager / Accounts & Tax Manager with at least 5 years experience in a small or medium sized accountancy firm, now looking to upgrade to a Top 80 practice based in the northern part of Central London (Zone 2) that works with a variety of clients but has a bias towards media and entertainment clients? Are you looking for a role where you will gain exposure to high profile clients from sectors including not only media and entertainment, but also property, construction, retail etc. Based in the busy Accounts department / Business Services department, your role will be a mixture of supervising / reviewing and hands on and will include the preparation (or review) of Statutory Accounts from start to finish, Corporation Tax Returns, VAT returns, Personal Tax Returns, ad hoc Management Accounts and other duties as required. You will manage your own portfolio of clients, and also have work flow and staff management responsibilities, including reviewing work and providing guidance and support to junior staff. You will liaise with clients and be expected to provide a high level service to your clients. Your role will be varied, challenging, yet enjoyable and progression within the firm is expected for strong candidates. The firm is happy to look at someone either at Assistant Manager or full Manager level.

To be considered for this new role (April 2023) it is likely you will be an Accounts Manager or an Assistant Manager and be fully ACA qualified. You must have at least 5 years experience working for a good quality accountancy practice firm, carrying out general accounting duties such as statutory accounts preparation, tax returns and VAT returns, as well as managing your own portfolio of clients, reviewing work and managing staff. You must now be looking to upgrade to a Top 80 accountancy firm based in the Northern part of Central London (Zone 2) where you will work with a varied client base, including Ltd companies and sole traders. You will now be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing firm and continue to learn new accountancy skills and work with impressive clients to improve your technical knowledge.
