Permanent Finance Manager job in Dundee, £35,000 - £45,000 + 33 days annual leave & a half day on a Friday

Your new company

Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of our Manufacturing client for a permanent Finance Manager. Salary is £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience. This role is based full time in the office & offers 33 days annual leave & a half day on a Friday

Your new role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be charge of the companies end to end full finance process with the help of an Accounts Assistant. You will complete the monthly management accounts, cash-flow forecasts and the P & L, answering any questions the board may have. You will process journals including prepayments & accruals & the VAT returns. You will oversee purchase ledger & sales ledger and payroll. You will complete the banking including reconciliations. You will complete various reports, including stock reports & deal with any other finance duties required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Accountant who is happy working in a varied & 'hands on' finance position. You will have excellent IT skills including Excel & ideally Sage (however this is not essential). You will be comfortable liaising with various internal & external stakeholders.
