Head of Finance | South Oxfordshire | £55,000 - £65,000 | Hybrid Working


Your new company

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Group that supplies products and services to blue-chip clients in the UK and America. Due to significant growth, you will help the Finance Director with the day-to-day running on the finance function, as well as contributing to the growth of the company.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Production of Management Accounts with variance analysis to budget
  • Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
  • Managing cash and cashflow forecasting
  • Modelling to support commercial bids, tenders and new product analysis
  • Supporting the audit, tax, CIS and VAT requirements
  • Managing relationships with the group's bankers, lenders etc
  • Continuously reviewing and improving the financial systems and software
  • Preparing and processing payroll for the group
  • Managing the group's insurances


What you'll need to succeed

To be the successful candidate, you will need to be / have:

  • Studying, Qualified Accountant, or Qualified by Experience
  • Experience in a similar role, or in a role aspiring to be a FC in an SME
  • Ability to self-manage and support the Leadership Team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong Excel skills Good interpersonal skills
