3 day a week Finance Business Partner role - Bristol
Your new role
Ideally looking for an experienced accountant on a p/t basis to sort out the costings, budgets and forecasts for the Support directorates covering Strategy and Corporate Services (HR, governance, legal, facitlities, project mgt), Finance and Procurement and central Group.
Finance Business Partners work within the Financial Reporting team supporting the Deputy CFO with the delivery of effective financial management, control, reporting and advisory support for specific operational directorates within the business. This role is a part time 3 days/week role that supports the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)
What you'll need to succeed
- A strong experienced accountant with business partnering skills should be able to streamline processes and bring sharp focus to role
- Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS, ICAI)
- Experience in not for profit sector
- Experience preparing forecast and budget information
- Experience in month-end management accounts including accruals & prepayments, variance analysis and commentary preparation
- Able to explain financial reports to non-finance specialists
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work in a fast paced and commercial environment
- A self-starter, able to work autonomously and capable of managing internal and external deadlines
