Job Details

Varied Management Accountant opportunity working closely with the Financial Controller. This is a hands-on reporting role, involved in the production of monthly management accounts and regular performance reporting. You will also oversee a small, well-established transactional team.
Client Details
My client is a successful retail business in Leeds, currently in an exciting period of growth. They have a well-established finance team, and are now seeking a new Management Accountant, reporting into the Financial Controller.
Description
As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for UK
- Consolidation of monthly management accounts with expense, key points, and channel profitability analysis.
- Balance sheet reconciliations of the main control accounts
- Monthly customer net profitability analysis
- Assist with the preparation of the annual audit
- Assist with standard costing reviews
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
- Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reports in terms of sales for all operations
- Assist with cash flow reporting
- Assist with development of procedures and controls to meet expanding business needs
- Complete weekly wages and monthly salaries
- Manage and support small transactional team
- Review and submit monthly reconciliation of multiple currency sales ledger control accounts
Profile
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience of Microsoft Navision (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills
- Organised self-starter with high attention to detail
- Retail/Logistics experience (desirable)
