Description
The Financial Controller will be responsible:
- Leading the day to day Financial & Management Accounting function
- Lead, mentor and develop the team
- Lead all period end close accounting (Month, Quarter, Year)
- Oversee preparation of all monthly management reporting
- Oversee all Balance Sheet and Ledger reconciliations
- Bank and Cash-flow forecasting including FX
- Assist with the group year end audit
- Implement and maintain financial control framework
- Review contracts and revenue recognition
- Identify transformation and change opportunities
- Ad-hoc projects
Profile
The successful Financial Controller will be:
- A fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 5+ years post qualified experience
- Strong technical finance skills developed in a similar role or accounting practice
- UKGAAP and USGAAP
- Strong analytic skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Prior people management experience is essential
- Media/Entertainment sector experience is desirable

The Financial Controller position comes with a base salary of circa £80,000-£120,000, discretionary company performance bonus.
