Job Details

This Head of Commercial Finance role sits within a smaller part of a larger group. You will have full ownership of the commercials and strategy for that site, with support from the FD and SSC. The business is fast paced & growing so it is a great time to join and add value.

Description

  • Overall management of the Commercial Finance function within the division
  • Ensure excellent working relationships are built and maintained with senior managers within the Division and the wider Group
  • Ensure working capital for the Division is managed effectively
  • Ensure deadlines are met without compromise of quality or integrity
  • Complete all other tasks required to drive the success of the Commercial Finance function in agreement with senior managers and Group
  • Initiate and facilitate changes to further improve the reporting quality and timeliness of management information
  • To manage and develop internal customer relationships
  • Recruitment, coaching and effective performance management of employees, ensuring all training and development needs are met
  • Promote active participation and team work in the Commercial Finance function and the wider Group

Profile

You will need to have a strong commercial background & acumen. Happy to work within a small, fast paced & growing part of the business. Able to liaise with senior stakeholders whilst also happy being hands on. You don't necessarily need a pharmaceutical background but if you do this is an added bonus.

Job Offer

  • Salary circa £70,000-£80,000
  • 10% bonus
  • Early finish on a Friday
  • Other benefits including death in service, private medical
