The role involves taking sole responsibility of all aspects of the management and financial accounting function for two groups of Companies, together with their subsidiaries and branches, using various functional currencies and exchange rates.
Client Details
My client, established 20 years ago, operates in the geology/mining space. They are listed on the AIM market and are carrying out projects globally.
Description
- Prepare Management Accounts with supporting analysis, budget reforecasts and commentary
- Prepare the Financial Statements and supporting notes
- Prepare the final accounts together with supporting schedules and analysis for Audit
- Prepare the annual Budgets in conjunction with the managers;
- Prepare Interim Accounts and supporting notes at the half-year stage
- Prepare and submit VAT/GST Returns in the U.K. and other countries
Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant
- Varied management accounts and financial accounting experience
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
