Job Details

The individual would work with senior management on an effective growth strategy, ensuring compliance and integrity of procedures controls and balance sheet reconciliation to company standards.

Michael Page is delighted to be working with a Global Manufacturing business with significant growth who are now on the lookout for a Financial Controller.

This is a great opportunity to improve processes and reporting policies. This role also directly reports to the CFO of the organisation.

Description

 

  • Develop and maintain KPIs linked to business strategy and reporting both Financial and Operational KPIs at a board level
  • Monitor and develop the financial and operational control environment
  • Manage and improve the management account's function, driving a culture of continuous improvement
  • Take ownership of business processes and controls, ensuring the overall financial controls framework for the business is operating effectively and efficiently
  • Manage the finance team of 4-5 direct reports

Profile

Key essentials of the Financial Controller 

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong ERP system knowledge and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to plan, budget and forecast
  • High level of commercial awareness
  • Strong hands-on financial analysis experience
