Permanent job for Head of Financial Reporting with hybrid working and great benefits in Swindon, Wiltshire

Your new company

Working for a major public sector employer in Swindon, with excellent commuter links and an opportunity to contribute and deliver on some of the most exciting projects currently underway in the UK.

Your new role

As Head of Financial Reporting you will be integral to delivering a large scale business process and adept at relating with complex accounts with transparency and probity.

Strong IFRS framework and application knowledge will assist you greatly in this role along with the ability to interpret where standard IFRS rules are not directly applicable.

Previous exposure to auditing or external auditors giving the ability to anticipate risks and effectively highlight and address.

What you'll need to succeed

Successful candidates will need to be technically strong qualified accountants with consolidation experience, as well as the above IFRS and auditing exposure.

Ability to relay complex financial information to all levels of the Business, Team leading/personnel management experience and ideally previous experience within the public sector, treasury/grant funding management and knowledge of HMT Green Book guidance.
