Client Details

Description
- Review, understand and challenge weekly trading & financial updates from across the group
- Provide forward looking robust guidance on likely performance across key P&L lines to enable an equally robust rolling P&L forecast to be maintained.
- Provide regular insight on competitor analysis
- Review and ensure FP&A timetable is issued timely as well as budget and forecast guidance
- Manage and complete submission of Budget and re-forecast in the consolidation system alongside with managing expectations and queries from stakeholders
- Liaise across and effectively engage with, the various finance teams of the group to ensure successful consolidation of 5-year business plans, budgets and major forecasts
- Support the Senior Finance Manager to review and analyse the business plans, annual budget and major forecasts and then effectively communicate to the CFO and various boards the challenges, risks and opportunities of the submitted plans
- Be responsible for periodic Group cash flow, including looking into variances, ensuring correct reporting of FCF and submission of FCF into the Group Dartboard
Profile
- Qualified Accountant CIMA (or equivalent)
- Commercial background with both retail and manufacturing sectors experience is desired
- Proven ability to assimilate, understand and provide insight on key financial information
- Clear communicator, both written and in person. Ability to deliver key financial and commercial messages successfully
- Strong people & team communication skill
- Consistently deliver on commitments, despite challenging timescales and competing priorities

A salary of circa £65,000
