Job Details

As Commercial Finance Manager you will be responsible for deal revenue analysis, reporting and providing analytic support to various teams. You will be responsible for providing in depth analysis for the business to support future commercial performance and understand impact of sales and strategic initiatives.

My client is a growing, Fin-Tech business that are currently turning over circa £20 million and have a 5 year growth plan to reach £150 million T/O. Recent ownership changes has opened up a number of opportunities for the business and this is a really key time to join to support their strategic focus.

Description

  • Serve as the point of contact for all commercial contracts, leading the process from inception to completion.
  • Support the evolution of the deal review process by driving improvements to the quality of the deals approved.
  • Support resolution of commercial complications with customers
  • Support leadership with financial analysis and modelling as needed to support target achievement
  • Review actual sales performance relative to targets for volume and incentives
  • Execute specialised customer analysis to support increased market penetration
  • Build models to assess the impact of strategic plans and initiatives
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting process
  • Develop an understanding of opportunities to drive value to the business by developing high quality reporting on deal performance, profitability and KPIs

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Ability to quickly distill large numbers of variables and data into simple decision frameworks
  • Ability to translate outcomes of commercial decision making into impact upon EBITDA
  • Articulates views in a clear and concise manner, including financial concepts to non-financial colleagues
  • Strong Excel modelling skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX, MATCH)
