Picture this, you would be joining an ambitious top 60, 15 partner practice at a time when the tax team is growing. Although there are 165 employees across the firm you would become part of our 25 strong tax team, stepping into a 100% advisory position created for an innovative, ambitious and experienced Corporate Tax Consultant supporting the ever-growing UK & international client base.

With the ever-changing tax landscape, you and your team will be advising a variety of clients, ranging from global property businesses to crypto platforms and fast-growth emerging tech firms.

All your experience will be fully utilised, your ability to build relationships, trust, and rapport quickly with clients, your leadership and developing of junior team members, identifying cross selling opportunities and most of all your technical expertise when it comes to Corporate Tax.

Your portfolio will be as varied as the advisory work you will be undertaking both face to face, over the phone and in writing. Undertaking research and delivering suggestions for resolution to technical corporate tax matters including corporate reorganisations, corporate interest restrictions, international transactions, and corporate due diligence . . . all the things that make you tick!

The Nitty Gritty

• Our standard working week is a 35-hour week on a hybrid basis (two days home, three days in the office) and hours are flexible between 7am - 7pm

As with any job we think there are a few things that would help you succeed from the start, these include:

• CTA qualified - would be great, but it’s not essential
• Strong technical knowledge - bit of an obvious one, you will need to have proven experience of providing complex corporate tax advice to a variety of clients including international clients
• Experience within a tax consultancy/advisory heavy role is essential (our compliance team are brilliant, and we have all of that covered!)
• An ambitious outlook and a Director role in your sights!
• Have a desire to take responsibility for continuing to support the development of the wider tax team
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable liaising with team members and holding meetings with clients
• Commercial acumen, with the ability to identify cross selling opportunities
