Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reporting Manager to lead the accurate reporting of our clients finance function.

Client Details

Our client manages the sourcing, delivery and supply of healthcare products, services and food for NHS trusts and healthcare organisations across England and Wales.

Description

As Reporting and Compliance Lead (RC Lead), you will be responsible for the production of all external reporting to various stakeholders, as well as internal reporting, in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality. In addition, the RC Lead will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate finance policies are in place, including the Scheme of Delegation, which support the business decision making, and the accuracy of approval hierarchies across the company.

As we look to advance our internal financial controls, your experience of a building and managing a strong internal controls environment will be key to this role as we navigate through a period of business and system change. In this position you will be responsible for demonstrating to our internal and external stakeholders the strength of our control environment and navigating the team through all audits as they occur.

On the compliance side of the role you will ensure finance, and the wider business where applicable, are following the necessary processes, and managing our internal risk and control oversight for the Financial Control team.

The Reporting and Compliance Lead will be the go to person for technical queries and guidance in the team, and you will therefore have the experience to understand current and new technical developments and be able to communicate the rules and changes when necessary to the team and wider business. You will be responsible for ensuring that all reporting from the Finance System is accurate and supported by appropriate evidence as well as policies and controls, and that any reporting issued is robust and accurate.
