Academy Finance Manager Halifax, full time ( term time only considered)

Your role at this exciting yet inspirational academy would be to prepare financial information, returns and monthly management accounts in appropriate and timely formats, as required by the CFO and the Principal. You will be preparing accurate and timely three year budgets for leadership review, in advance of submission and presentation to Governors for approval. There is also an element to lead the in-house finance team and oversee all day-to-day finance and accounting administration.
Within this role, you will be responsible for accuracy and timely completion of payroll processes and pensions returns for the academies in the trust identified, including checking, liaison with the HR team and the Trust finance team. You would need to support the academy business functions, providing advice and leadership in operational matters, line management of other support staff areas as required to assist the smooth running of the academy and to produce and present reports for local governing bodies as required.
