Client Manager

A growing firm based in Bolton are looking to appoint an experienced Client Manager to their team

Your new company
A long-standing firm based in Bolton who had recently merged with a Top 10 firm are looking to grow their client manager team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for their first step into portfolio management, or for someone who already has experience of managing their own clients.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the development of your own client portfolio, which will consist of a range of industries across (but not limited to) construction, manufacturing, retail and hospitality. You will be the main point of contact for your portfolio, and support in the production of monthly management information in a timely manner.
You will manage and review the preparation of statutory and management accounts from planning through to completion, as well as managing and reviewing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT computations and returns. You will lead and develop a team of trainees and seniors to ensure they are continuously learning and improving, whilst striving to ensure the business and client objectives are met, as well as your teams personal career objectives. You will report directly to senior management, and be expected to lead from the front as a hard working and dynamic client manager.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a Qualified ACCA / ACA candidate, but part qualified may be considered based on the experience you have. You will be able to demonstrate experience of managing your own portfolio as well as experience in accounts production. Additionally you must have strong communication and rapport building skills, ensuing that the highest service is offered to your clients at all times.
