Financial accountant for the UK division of a global manufacturer of intralogistics solutions. Based in Leicestershire offering a hybrid working arrangement.
Client Details
A global business offering intralogistic solutions for conveying, loading, palletising, packaging, sortation and baggage handling. Employing around 5100 team members across 70 different countries. Operating since the 1930s they are a international leader within their field.
Description
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements to Group
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Assist in preparations of budgets and financial forecasts and report variances
- Bank payment authorisation and cash flow management
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close process, including statutory accounts
- Develop and document robust business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal control
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- SAGE and SAP experience
- Effective communicator
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Keen eye for detail
- Good data analysis skills
