Job Details
Reporting to the CFO and working as a key member of the firm's Finance team, the Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for the efficient running, maintenance and development of all aspects of the Finance function.
As Group Financial Accountant you will drive the company's financial planning by analysing its performance and related risks in order to make the most beneficial decisions.

Description
As Group Financial accountant you will be responsible for the preparation of month-end financial and management reporting.
Preparation of cash flows, sales and profit forecasts and identification of any items or events that require CFO or other senior management attention.
You will be responsible for the preparation of financial and regulatory submissions in a timely manner to the relevant financial authorities including VAT, Corporation tax, companies House annual returns and other statutory obligations.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly capital and liquidity reports in order to monitor firm's internal and external ratios in accordance with regulatory requirements. Identify any internal breach of ratios and report immediately to the CFO.
Prepare other regulatory financial reporting as required by the firm's regulators for approval by the CFO.
You will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts including Group Consolidations and reporting to the CFO, liaising between the firm and its external and internal auditors.
Profile
You will be a qualified accountant.
You will be looking after Europe and the UK and the role will eventually will become a global one.
You will have people management skills with the ability to develop junior members of the team.
You will possess good business partnering skills, conversing with the CFO and external stakeholders.
You will be technically strong and have the ability to guide the business on its growth journey.
Strong excel skills is an advantage as new system implementation will be involved in your role.
