Are you an ACA Qualified Business Services Manager / Accounts Manager (with experience of both statutory accounts and management accounts preparation), with at least 3 – 5 years post qualification experience, from a practice background and looking to upgrade to a professional Top 50 Central London based practice firm? Are you from a small or medium size practice background and looking for a larger firm which has an excellent track record in training and providing support for staff from smaller firms? Or are you from a larger firm background and looking for a better work life balance and better promotion opportunities and a more varied and interesting role? Are you looking to get a large firm name on your CV, work in a friendly office and have the opportunity to work with a mixture of large international businesses, but also smaller SME clients from a wide range of sectors, including property, media, entertainment, renewable energy, retail, gaming and financial services? If so, this growing international Top 50 accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in the City is looking to recruit a new Business Services Manager / Accounts Manager due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include managing your own portfolio of high profile clients, managing work flow, reviewing work, giving staff appraisals and sometimes carrying out higher level work in a hands on capacity. You will also be expected to assist with new business development and attend certain client events. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a large team that will provide you with many growth and promotion opportunities in the future. The firm also offers Flexible / hybrid working allowing all staff to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home (and often 2 days in the office and 3 days from home!). The firm have had great success recruiting candidates from smaller firm backgrounds and candidates relocating to London from regional practice firms.
To be considered for this new role (March 2023) you will be a fully qualified ACA Business Services Manager / Accounts Manager with at least 3 – 5 years of PQE working for a UK based practice firm, and have experience of the above duties, including managing your own portfolio and reviewing work, as well as both statutory accounts and management accounts experience. You must now be looking to upgrade to a large Top 50 practice where you can continue with your accountancy career and work on an interesting client base and receive great opportunities to progress in a short space of time.
