Job Details

The main purpose of this role is to control the Service and Maintenance contracts across the Offshore asset portfolio, most of which service Joint Venture assets with third party investors. These total over €165m per annum of Revenue covering 17 contracts. The volume is likely to go up as new assets become operational.

Description

  • Creating and maintaining a standardised suite of reports which analyse the performance of the Service contracts
  • Present the contract performance reports to the Finance Manager and General Manager on each asset
  • Ensure contracts are invoiced on a timely basis and all appropriate costs are allocated correctly and recovered under the contract
  • Ensure internal resource working on service contracts are recording their time appropriately and on a timely basis. Understand and analyse resource performance on the contracts and identify / foresee resource constraints, investigating and escalating as necessary
  • Develop suitable KPIs for the contracts to truly understand whether they are not only performing as envisaged within our planning and budgets, but also whether they are performing as efficiently as possible
  • Maintain a Risk and Opportunities register for each contract, understand, and discuss these risks with the projects and service teams and ensure appropriate mitigation's are in place
  • Produce a monthly portfolio overview analysing the performance of the Service Departments under these contracts. Present this to Senior Management and provide explanations for deviations and key opportunities and risks for each contract
  • Provide recommendations to Senior Management for potential improvements, increased profitability, or risk mitigation for the suite of contracts. Maintain a long-term plan to ensure the business recognise best value for its service department
  • Develop an internal bench-marking process which will provide an understanding of the relative merits of the different contracts across the portfolio
  • Deliver recommendations to Senior Management for performance improvements and recommended contract structures for contracts on development projects
  • Supporting and coordinating the MTP budget and planning submissions for the Service side of Operations globally
  • Act as (or on behalf of) the Contractors Representative under the contracts. Ensure best value is delivered under the contracts and optimal cash flow is maintained.
  • Ensuring that Finance processes, guidelines and best practices are met/used across the Global fleet

Profile

  • A University degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualification
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and present it in a clear and logical format
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish and nurture effective working relationships both within the Controlling team and the wider business
  • High level of self-organisation, personal drive, energy, and flexibility
  • Familiarity with SAP / MS Office
  • Ability to work successfully across different countries and cultures
  • Experience in project-, supplier- and contract management, sound understanding about applicable laws
  • Strong communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and mind set
  • Open and team oriented
  • English (fluent)
