Your new role
Reporting into the Group Finance Director, the post holder will manage the Global Finance Operations team, implementing process improvements, driving effective, efficient finance processes and build a team to deliver excellent customer service.The Finance Operations team of 24, focuses on 3 main areas: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Treasury.
Duties will include ensuring all operational finance processes and controls are best practice and standardised across the group. Create and contribute towards business cases for Finance change projects that support the wider strategic objectives. Create new and develop existing guidance and governance policies and procedures. Identify opportunities to automate and enhance processes, workflow and systems. Own operational issues and seeing them through to resolution.


What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with PQE, or part qualified with appropriate experience and understanding of financial processes would be considered
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, being recognised as a role model who can influence, motivate, and lead a professional accounts team
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements, including workflow and technology enhancements
• Excellent client service mentality with a 'can do, will do' attitude
• Ability to demonstrate a high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking
• Strong commercial awareness
• Analytical and logical approach, with a strong sense of initiative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence different levels of the business
• ​Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
