A Top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Manager in their Liverpool office. This Liverpool based firm have a strong reputation in the Merseyside region and following a period of continuous growth they are looking to expand their management team. The firm are currently working remotely and as restrictions ease the firm will offer a hybrid working environment working both in their modern Liverpool offices and remotely.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Manager you will join work alongside the managers and the partners to ensure a high level of client service is maintained. You will be allocated a varied portfolio of clients including OMBs, subsidiaries of foreign owned business and group structures. Day to day duties will include overseeing a range of audit and accounts assignments, leading planning and completion meetings, reviewing audit and accounts files, managing WIP and billing and mentoring and training junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
This Top 20 Accountancy Firm are looking to recruit an ACA / ACCA Chartered Accountant who has gained post qualified experience reviewing both audit and accounting files. You must have operated in a role which is weighted at least 40% towards audit and the partners will also consider Top 10 candidates looking to secure a better work life balance. As this is a managerial role the firm are looking for a Audit Professional who can demonstrate good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
