Financial Controller / FD Designate

Broad hands on role within local manufacturer who form part of a wider group

Hands on broad role for an ambitious Financial Controller who seeks a pathway to Finance Director within a division of a larger group.

Your new role
You will occupy a broad role with oversight for the monthly reporting requirements of the business whilst controlling cash management and other statutory obligations / tax requirements. You play a key role in setting budgets whilst working on other commercial tasks such as sales and margin analysis in addition to business partnering with a range of operational leaders. You will support the FD in driving the strategic agenda across the organisation with the opportunity to transition into their role in time as part of their succession planning.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (or equivalent) with broad hands on experience within an end to end finance role. Exposure to the manufacturing / engineering sectors would be highly desirable. A strong appreciation for management and financial accounting is required.
