Finance Manager, £70,000 - £85,000, Remote Working, e-commerce Entertainment Company

Your new company
A unique e-commerce entertainment company based overseas are looking for a remote-working Finance Manager. They are dominant in their space, high in growth and hoping to set up offices in London in the near future. With this comes the opportunity to develop in your role with a dynamic new finance team. With over 400 employees and operating in over 15 markets making records, there hasn't been a better opportunity to jump on board than now.

Your new role
As the new Finance Manager in a new geographical area, you'll have a key role to play in the business. Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the audit process, organise the team to ensure the audit is closed out in a timely manner
  • Review consolidated and individual entity statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Drive month-ends, ensure deadlines are met to a high standard
  • Implement processes for new entities and consolidated group accounts
  • Review tax returns and liaise with the tax team to meat deadlines
  • Maintain accounting systems and recommend improvements
  • Provide technical support to other members of the finance team
  • Be a leader within the finance team and act is a point of contact that consistently interacts with other departments. Lead by example and improve proactivity within your team under the GROW framework
  • Identify opportunities to grow and change where seen fit
  • Manage and mentor direct reports whilst learning/developing in your role


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this exciting new role, you'll need:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification
  • Experience managing a team and preparing consolidated group accounts
  • Strong technical accounting abilities and knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in a listed Group or large Group team
  • A background in audit and/or online gaming experience desired
