Financial Director

Your new company
I am currently working with a fast-growing tech company located in London. It combines the power of recommender system with machine learning and large-scale, high-quality data in order to create powerful models. They are currently looking forward to hiring a Financial Director who will add value to their growing business and who will work closely with their Financial Controller and COO.

Your new role
This is broad and varied role with key duties including:

• Financial systems implementation for FP&A, reporting and consolidation
• Oversee company's financial control
• Management of tax returns for both the US and the UK
• Budget management accounts preparations, forecasting, management and analysis
• Preparation of all statutory accounts (both UK and oversees)
• Assistance of financial due diligence and fundraise processes as the company enters as series A investment round
• Management of relationships with the company's external finance functions
• Bringing in finance functions in house (including recruitment) from an external management company as the company grows

You will need to be a qualified accountant with strong academic background. You will need proven experience working as a finance leader in a fast paced, growing business. You will need a good understanding of financial and management reporting and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
