Description
As the Interim Finance Business Partner you will:
- Lead all financial reports for the organisation.
- Work alongside team members to produce, complete and deliver monthly management accounts with accuracy and within a timely manner.
- Prepare reports for board supporting the review of crucial variances on a monthly basis, working with senior team members and among the organisation, providing solutions for potential variances in financial data.
- Oversee forecasts and cash flow for the organisation while devising strategy to drive cash flow.
- Continually develop the forecasting planning and models.
- Ensure all finances are reported to board and internal/external auditors within a timely and effective manner.
- Be involved within internal meetings to issues in relation to financial performance and provide analysis across the team to drive improvements in cost efficiency's, income and expenditure.
- Assist the operational teams in maximising efficiency's and identifying risks and improvements from a commercial front.
- Effectively communicate financial related matters according with board, key stakeholder, funders etc.
- Ensure the adherence of controls within an effective manner and in line with compliance.
- Guide and manage the assistant management accountant.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks for the organisation as and when required.
Profile
The successful interim Finance Business Partner will be/have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience within a similar role and within business partnering.
- An ability to identify and react to emerging issues.
- Experience within accounting and good team working skills.
- Experience in delivering projects to tight deadlines.
- The ability to analyse financial issues and interpret information.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience with managing month and year end audits.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to tight deadlines.
- The ability to represent the ethos and objectives of the organisations specialists.
