Your new company
I am working with a global leading reinsurance business looking to hire a Finance Manager to join the business in the European division. This is an innovative, forward thinking business which is leading from the front within the industry in terms of culture and work life balance.
Your new role
This is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:
- Leading on the quarterly close process
- Production and presentation of MI packs
- Management and development of 2 direct reports
- Working alongside the project team to ensure division is aligned on processes, controls and systems
- Supporting in BAU activities including annual plan delivery
- Ad-Hoc project work
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with practice background preferred. You will have a detailed working knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and previous experience in the insurance sector. You will ideally have experience of project and change experience.
