Job Details

This role will work with the Head of Finance to ensure robust financial management is in place across the trust in accordance with the Academies Financial Handbook. The role will also manage and develop a team of finance managers delivering an excellent standard of customer service to schools within our Trust.
Client Details
This role is for a highly successful multi academy trust which encompasses just under 20 schools across the West Midlands region.
Description
- Prepare monthly budget monitoring reports for specified schools.
- Assist in month end and year end procedures.
- Income tracking and ensuring funding is correctly applied for. Budget planning and forecasting.
- Update and maintain budget planning software.
- Provide advice and guidance on financial matters, e.g. budget costing, budgetary control, year-end forecasts and financial systems.
- Providing timely financial management information and reports to relevant stakeholders.
Profile

- Hold a recognised accountancy qualification (CCAB)
- Experience of working within a Finance team, ideally in a school or education setting
- Be emotionally intelligent with the ability to build strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise
- The ability to work in a face paced, challenging yet rewarding role
