Tax Associate - Corporate Tax - Practice - Permanent

Your new company

You will be working with this leading Accountancy practice who have a local presence in Belfast. . The tax team have an interesting and varied opportunity for a Junior or senior tax professional to join them on a permanent basis. You will be involved in; corporate tax accounting, reporting and compliance obligations. Whilst the main focus of the role will be in Corporate tax, there will be a requirement to also support on employment tax and VAT compliance matters and full support will be provided to the Tax Accountant.

Your new role

You will be responsible for; preparation of tax returns for a portfolio of local companies, analysis of accounting information for inclusion in tax computations, preparation of current and deferred tax notes for inclusion in the statutory accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

You will hold a professional qualification in Tax AND/OR Finance, be technically strong, great systems experience and an understanding of wider tax issues. You will have the experience required to handle a range of tax issues and will be capable of working independently. Experience of working in or with a large multi-national organisation would also be advantageous.
