Interim Finance Subject Matter Expert - ERP Systems Implementation/Migration

Reporting to the Senior Finance Workstream Lead, The Finance SME will be a subject matter expert and have an understanding of the inner working of a broad range of Financial functions and operational difficulties that employees face across all impacted business functions within the Business.
As well as supporting the Finance Workstream Leads on delivering and managing clear programme objectives, they will work closely with the business to identify, document and develop Finance processes, understanding all interactions across these activities and champion the adoption of a new system.

• Support cross-delivery lead activities e.g. functional delivery areas, data migration and its associated activities, business change etc.
• Leading large groups of users to design, showcase and implement the solution, with its associated business process harmonisation and people change.
• Facilitating change management within Finance and answering queries/alleviating fears.
• Identifying potential threats and hurdles, informing their Workstream Lead, Functional Delivery Lead and/or the Business Change Manager in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the successful implementation of the new ERP system within Finance.
• Provide local expertise and support post go-live to support local users and embed best practice locally.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or classified as a finalist and will have proven experience within ERP migration.

• Thorough understanding of Finance processes
• Understanding of the use/management of financial data
• Experienced in a range of Finance areas and expertise in one or more areas
• Large ERP Finance system experience
• Experience of working within the Finance department of a large corporation or government body
