Management Accountant - Newly Qualified / Part Qualified - Property and Real Estate - First Time Mover.


Your new company
A large property development group with head offices in South Manchester / Cheshire are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join the residential division of the group. This is a great job opportunity for a finalist or newly qualified practice trained accountant to make their first move into industry which can offer some commercial exposure.

Your new role
As a management accountant you will report into the Divisional Finance Director and work within the company's Residential Building Division.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts which will incorporate preparing financial statements, profit and loss, assessing KPIs and monitoring budget and forecasts.

A proportion of your role will be focussed on forecasting which will include working with the FD to maintain a rolling weekly forecast to help support the management of cashflow requirements and also the continuous analysis of KPIs and cost centres for all ongoing projects.

You'll also be responsible for improving systems improvements and financial controls across the division to ensure sound reporting at both a regional and group level and will also have involvement in statutory accounts and year end audit files.

What you'll need to succeed
The Finance Director is looking to appoint a finalist or recently qualified ACA / ACCA accountant who has trained within an accountancy firm and has experience implementing financial controls with a range of different clients. You will be competent in preparing monthly management accounts for your clients (income statements, balance sheets etc) and liaising with senior stakeholders. Exposure to working with clients in the property sector, group structures and monitoring KPIs would be highly advantageous.
