A global bank, one of the 5 biggest in the world, is recruiting for a Relationship Manager specialised in Real Estate to join their global corporate and commercial department.

Role
You will be joining a global Chinese bank that has an established presence across the UK and the rest of the world. The bank is looking for someone with experience as a Relationship Manager specialising in Real Estate, to join their department and help oversee the expansion of their global corporate and commercial real estate portfolio. Responsibilities

Key responsibilities for this will include the responsibility to source, develop and deliver new Commercial Real Estate Finance Transactions in bilateral or syndicate loan types that align with the bank's risk appetite. Further you will be expected to construct financing structure, draft term-sheets and negotiate with clients. Other responsibilities include preparing credit facility proposal and coordinate the facility drawdown process with all concerned parties including but not limit to different CRE asset classes, such as retail, office, industrial, hotel and data centre etc; conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis with skills such as financial modelling, borrowers' and guarantors' creditworthiness assessment, UK real estate markets analysis, etc; coordinating with other departments to complete KYC process including client on boarding, risk assessment, compliance checking and legal reviews and monitoring the financial status including credit rating, major credit events and business operations of clients

Expectations
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 3 years experience as a Relationship Manager specialising in Real Estate. A specialised knowledge of both the UK and wider European market is essential. Strong credit risk skills based on experience developed in corporate banking environments is key. Other expectations include a successful track record in securing and retaining client accounts; strong sales and relationship management experience in wholesale banking; excellent presentation skills and the ability to market wholesale banking products to clients and strong communication and negotiation skills.
