Experienced accounts outsourcing senior ACA ACA QBE for Top 10 practice firm in Southampton

You will be working for a Top 10 firm of accountants whose Southampton office has been established for over 10 years and has over 60 staff, including partners/directors/associate directors. The office provides assurance and business services, personal taxation, business taxation, corporate finance and restructuring and recovery services in a wide variety of sectors.

As an Accounts Senior in the Outsourcing Team you will provide clients with an efficient and effective service. This would be through the control and efficient use of the department resources and also by performing the work for clients within the portfolio. Liaison with other departments to ensure close liaison on client affairs and assisting in administration tasks to ensure a smooth running of the department will also be important.

It is likely that you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA) or someone who is "qualified by experience". You will need to have significant experience of management accounts, statutory accounts and VAT returns ideally gained within a professional services environment along with experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB and SME clients. Demonstrable working knowledge of accounting standards is essential coupled with strong communication skills in order to liaise with clients, Directors, Partners, staff and other professionals and strong organisation & time management skills to ensure needs of clients, partners and staff are all met.
