Qualified ACA ACCA Audit Manager, Southampton, Top 10 Firm

A Top 10 Firm in Southampton are currently looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager to join their thriving team and are welcoming applications from suitably experienced candidates.

The primary responsibility of the Audit Manager will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients as well as providing assistance to Partners in both client work and in the management of the group and on occasions the wider firm.

You will act as a major point of contact within the firm for the client together with the Partner which includes responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintaining regular contact with clients.

Ideally you will be ACA/ICAS qualified (or overseas equivalent) with previous experience of managing an audit team and a good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.

It is likely that the successful candidate will also have a working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering along with experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing, including consolidations, group audits, statutory accounts and disclosures.
