Finance Business Partner Job based in West Kent - Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA with Salary DOE up to £55,000

My client, a well-established and leading UK business is looking to recruit an accomplished and qualified Finance Business Partner to join their existing finance team.

Your new role
As Finance Business Partner will play a vital role in both enhancing the organisation's financial management capability and in embedding a more commercial focus into the business. You will be part of the Commercial Finance Team and will provide high quality financial support to the Operational Hubs. You will need to forge and develop good working relationships with key stakeholders with a view to promoting the effective financial management and administration of individual contracts and the Hub as a whole. You will provide timely and insightful advice to Directors, Senior Management Team and other non-finance staff, interpreting financial reports and requirements for them and analysing and utilising information provided by them to produce financial management information. You will be expected to monitor and report on the financial performance of the operational areas and their services, providing the appropriate financial advice to ensure financial objectives are met. You will also work to produce area and service level budgets, forecasts and reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an accomplished Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant with a relevant financial qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA. You will need to demonstrate all-round experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting, and able to provide and analyse management accounts, using strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, to support both finance and non-finance staff effectively. Experienced in a devolved budget setting environment across multiple sites. Proven experience of operating within a similar business facing role in a commercial environment. Show a sound commercial awareness with a proven ability to provide value and insight leading to financial performance improvement. Experienced in leading the commercial development of new business proposals (bids, funding applications, acquisitions, etc.). Possess excellent communication skills - (must be able to establish strong and professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders). Demonstrate advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, with the ability to develop financial models to produce integrated P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flows and have experience of or desire to manage a small established team.
