Head of Finance Transformation for Renewable Energy Business

Your new company
My client is a privately owned renewable energy business who have very exciting growth plans. They are currently operational in the UK and Europe but are looking to expand their operations globally and as such require a senior finance professional to help with this expansion.

Your new role
Reporting into the CFO this role will be assisting in the expansion into new geographical locations, this will include defining the finance structures, setting up the functions and processes. Given the growth they've already achieved they are also in need of updating their current finance systems and processes so you will be leading this. This is a really broad project role that will change throughout the duration of the contract.

What you'll need to succeed
This would suit somebody who has worked in a senior level (CFO/FD/Head of Finance Transformation) who has helped expand businesses globally and lead similar projects. You will need the gravitas and experience to advise the CFO and board, but also happy to be hands on in the roll out of the projects. Experience in energy sector is highly advantageous but they would also consider candidates from infrastructure based industries.

What you'll get in return
You will be working within the renewable energy space supporting a business who have already helped cut significant carbon emissions globally. This will be at least a year long contract (likely to be longer) and you will have the opportunity to advise and scope the role based on your expertise. They will pay between £600-£1000 - IR35 determination is pending. Such an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business who will really make an impact on the world we live in.
