Finance Business Analyst

Business Analyst job - Ideal first or second move from practice - Growing Financial Services Company - Croydon

Your new company

You will be working for a rapidly growing financial services company, who pride themselves on providing high end executive support services including management, consultancy, and IT. They are relocating to brand new offices in Spring 2023, and adding to their finance team due to growth. You will be based full time in the office.


Your new role

Joining the Senior Finance team, you will have a fluid and varied role, reporting directly to the CEO. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the production and consolidation of group and company management accounts, management reporting and financial analysis. You will streamline processes, and improve procedures that can be automated. You will also take on ad-hoc reporting projects on group performance, and assist the wider finance team where required. You will partner with different entities and resolve internal and external report queries.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be audit trained, looking for your first move into industry. You will be qualified, ideally ICAEW, and will bring experience managing multiple stakeholders working with mid-to-large size financial services firms. You will have gained experience of working in a decentralised team, particularly with international team members, implementing control procedures. You will bring exceptional communication skills, with stakeholders at all levels, a strong attention to detail, and a drive to hit deadlines. You must have analytical skills, particularly a proficiency on Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables, etc) handling large amounts of data. You will be energetic, positive, and able to work in teams.
