Your new company
You will be working for a market leading chemical company that operates 27 businesses across the globe. The business has a £60 million turnover and is constantly growing due to acquisitions. The company has a friendly working culture with excellent career development opportunities within this role, with the scope to progress both upwards and into different teams. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders and learn from an impressive team of finance professionals.

Your new role
You will be working as an Accountant reporting to the Senior Accountant. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the weekly cashflow forecasts and reporting to Treasury
  • Preparing the statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Supporting with VAT returns and corporation tax pack preparation
  • Business partnering with people across the international business
  • Analysis of fixed costs and balance sheets
  • As-hoc responsibilities including supporting the audit, M&A activities, and cash management initiatives.


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a recently ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant from either a practice or industry trained background. Any SAP experience would be an advantage. You must have strong communications skills and an eagerness to get involved across the team.
